Computers are wonderful, but as with any tool, if you don't
understand what it can do, you can't get the most out of it.
CCPlus Inc. can help you maximize your investment by providing
you with the training necessary to get the results you need.
We offer classes primarily for businesses or other groups.
Training for individuals may be available through our tutoring
program.
Most of our clients choose a class that is customized to their
needs, but some choose standard classes. Some of the standard
classes we offer include:

PowerPoint: Advanced
Windows : Introduction
Microsoft Word: Level 1
An introduction to the world of Word is provided. Students
learn how to create documents, enter, modify and format text,
use Word's AutoCorrect feature, create and enhance tables,
add control page appearance (e.g., create headers and footers,
set margins and page breaks), and print.
Microsoft Word: Level 2
Further examination into tables is provided in this class.
Also presented are how to create and apply styles and templates.
Students are also introduced to merging data, macros, and
to creating newspaper columns. This is followed by an introduction
to using Word with the Internet.
Microsoft Word: Advanced
As the name implies, more advanced topics are covered here.
They include: advanced styles (e.g., using the AutoFormat
feature as well as linking and managing styles), creating
templates and forms, using graphic effects (e.g., drawing
in a document, using clipart and graphic effects, and WordArt),
working with large documents, document layout (e.g., using
sections to control layout, formatting documents for binding,
creating footnotes and endnotes, using bookmarks, and creating
cross-references), and sharing documents (e.g., routing a
document, using highlights and comments, and creating, comparing
and merging multiple versions of documents).
Microsoft Access: Level 1
An introduction to the world of Access is provided. Students
learn how to create their own database and its key objects,
which are tables, queries, forms, and reports.
Microsoft Access: Level 2
Principles of good table design and table relationship are
explored. Students also learn how to design select queries,
enhance form (and subform) designs, and customize reports.
Microsoft Access: Advanced
The focus of this class is on designing helpful queries such
as parameter, action, outer join, and crosstab. Also learn
how to create macros and assign them to buttons on forms as
well as advanced report techniques. The class concludes with
an introduction to using hyperlinks in your database to locations
on the Internet.
Excel: Worksheets
An introduction to the world of Excel is provided. Students
learn how to create and format their own workbooks, enter
and modify data, create formulas, use functions, check spelling,
print, create a simple chart, outline worksheets, and use
an Excel Spreadsheet Solution to create a sample invoice.
Excel: Charting & Organizing Data
Students learn how to create, modify, and format charts. They
also learn how to add and format graphic objects to enhance
their worksheets and charts. This is followed by instruction
into how to sort, filter, and query data in a worksheet.
Excel: Advanced
As the name implies, more advanced topics are covered here.
They include customizing the work area, advanced formula construction,
pivot tables, multiple file linking, consolidating data and
using analysis tools, protect and display options, and an
introduction to macros.
MS Outlook: Introduction
An introduction to the world of Outlook is provided. Students
learn how to create, receive and send email, use a personal
distribution list, recall, print and move messages, schedule
and edit appointments and events, add and edit contacts and
notes, and create and edit tasks.
MS Outlook: Advanced
As the name implies, more advanced topics are covered here.
They include: advanced mail topics (e.g., message handling
options, inserting text into a message or using AutoSignatures),
arranging and viewing messages, using folders, scheduling
and managing meetings, using templates and forms as well as
customizing the Outlook bar, working with contacts and the
Outlook journal.
PowerPoint : Introduction
An introduction to the world of PowerPoint is provided. Students
learn how to create their own presentations and to enhance
them with drawn objects, clip art, WordArt, and organization
charts. Students are also taught how to use templates and
the Slide Master as well set up a slide show and decide on
output options.
PowerPoint: Advanced
As the name implies, more advanced topics are covered here.
They include: creating your own template, work with graphic
objects, import and export objects (e.g., tables and charts),
advanced drawing techniques (e.g., aligning and rotating objects
and enhancing flow-chart objects), working with animation
in your presentation, and working with meeting notes.
Windows: Introduction
An introduction to the world of Windows 95, 98, NT or 2000
is provided. Students are introduced to the Windows environment
and how to customize it. They also learn how to run multiple
programs, cut, copy and paste data, manage documents and folders,
and some additional document management techniques (e.g.,
formatting a disk, copying and moving groups of documents,
using the Recycle Bin and the Shut Down command.)
